Renowned Texas Historian and Director of The Texas Center at Schreiner University. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and Texas Christian University. Award-winning author of 5 books on Texans in the Civil War. His latest book, Tempest Over Texas, was released in May 2020. He has published numerous papers, publications and scholarly letters. He has been very involved in work on museums including: The Texas Civil War Museum, The Buffalo Gap Historic Village and Frontier Texas!, Civil War and frontier heritage trails in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana as well as work on historical projects in Europe and Mexico. He is writer and director of the video – ‘Our Home, Our Rights: Texas and Texans in the Civil War’, a winner of the Mitchell Wilder Award for Excellence in Publications and Media Design from the Texas Association of Museums. Frazier is an elected member of the prestigious Philosophical Society of Texas, a Fellow of the Texas State Historical Association and is a Director-Scholar on the board of the Texas Historical Foundation. Dr. Frazier has just been named by Governor Abbott to the 1836 Project.
