Bud is a Kerrville native and graduate of Tivy High School. He is a USDA Entomologist and Research Administrator with extensive fund raising and budget experience. Bud’s experience includes USDA Senior Executive Service, USDA National Program Director, USDA Superior Service Award, Fellow AAAS, National Academy of Sciences, CEO Troy Biotech. He serves on several boards and is a nationally and internationally recognized scientist. He holds several U.S and international patents and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications including books and book chapters. Bud is a member of the Kerr County Historical Commission.
