Giving Thanks to Our Community

Heritage Center board members at the groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the A.C. and Myrta Schreiner house on November 12, 2024.

In this season of thanksgiving, we are so grateful for our community who have supported us. Our commitment to this years’ long project has reached an exciting milestone with renovation underway at the A.C. and Myrta Schreiner house. The great turnout for the groundbreaking ceremony showed us that our community is just as excited about the project as we are. We know we could not have reached this point without you!

Community gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking for the house renovation.

I know everyone on our team at the Heritage Center will be giving thanks for our community when we sit down at the table on Thanksgiving Day. This makes me think about the people who gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving in the long history of the A.C. and Myrta Schreiner house. No matter what was happening at those points in history, we can be sure that those who gathered gave thanks for family, friends, and this community. While change is inevitable, I can find comfort knowing that our reason for coming together on Thanksgiving will always remain the same.

We are thankful for you!
